A male personal trainer administers a functional movement screening for a college-aged male. The participant is on one knee, holding a rod behind his back.

Functional Movement Screening

Recreation Services is now offering a Functional Movement Screening (FMS). This screening aims to identify any imbalances in muscular mobility and stability. Participants will be assessed based on five movement patterns. Our staff will provide corrective exercises and resources with every screening.

Improving mobility and stability can enhance fitness, improve sport performance, and reduce injury risk.

Each assessment takes approximately 30 minutes. Book your appointment here.

Cost: $18 per assessment

Functional Movement Screenings will open on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
