Our Mission

Student Wellness leads evidence-based strategies that promote the wellbeing of each ISU student.

Our Vision

Student Wellness will advance university-wide collaborations, programs and initiatives to create a community that empowers each student to be healthy, well and successful.

Our Organization

Student Wellness plans, implements and evaluates health promotion strategies that focus on health and wellness issues that directly affect student success, higher learning, and personal development such as mental health and suicide prevention, substance and alcohol use prevention, education and support, power based personal violence, basic needs and food security support.

Student Wellness offers different student support programing such as Styled for Success, Peer Wellbeing Coaching, Green Flags Trainings, the SHOP on-campus food pantry and peer support meetings for students experiencing substance or alcohol addiction.
